2023 Chevrolet Traverse Trim Level Comparison

Chevy offers seven different SUV models, ranging from the compact Trax to the big and brawny Suburban. The Chevrolet Traverse, a three-row full-size SUV, is among this automaker’s largest family-friendly crossover SUVs. Slotting between the Blazer and the Tahoe, the Traverse is a commodious, powerful machine that offers plenty of amenities and capabilities.
After a fresh redesign last year, the Traverse marches into 2023 with enhanced tech, a plethora of safety and comfort features, and numerous entertainment options. Whether you’re looking for a spacious family hauler, a reliable daily driver, or an adventurous family getaway vehicle, the Traverse fits the bill.
It’s always good to have options, and you get plenty with the Traverse. Available trim levels range from the base LS to the top-level High Country. All of them would look great in your driveway, but which one is right for you? Here’s a breakdown of the six incredible Traverse trim levels.
Chevrolet Traverse LS Trim
Starting at $30,995 MSRP, the LS is the entry-level model and the least expensive 2023 Traverse. Under the hood, the LS is powered by a 3.6-liter V-6 engine — a proven unit that comes standard on all trims. It churns out a steady 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. Power comes from GM’s nine-speed automatic transmission, which is paired with either front- or all-wheel drive.
On the infotainment and tech front, the Traverse LS covers the basics with Chevrolet’s Infotainment System 3, including a 7-inch color touch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, Bluetooth connectivity, and enhanced voice recognition for in-vehicle apps (this requires a subscription after the trial period). Audio comes courtesy of a standard six-speaker AM/FM setup with SiriusXM satellite radio and a three-month trial subscription. An available Wi-Fi hotspot and active noise cancellation technology complete the system.
The LS trim keeps things safe, too, with a suite of driver assistance features, including automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, and lane departure warning. Lane-keep assist and a follow-distance indicator also come as standard. Plus, Chevy’s patented Teen Driver technology helps give parents peace of mind when younger drivers take the wheel. Overall, the LS trim is suitable for daily driving and family transport if you only need what the base trim provides. However, if you want to get more out of your Traverse, you may want to move up the trim ladder.
Chevrolet Traverse LT Cloth Trim
Next up is the Traverse LT Cloth trim. Starting at $36,445 MSRP, it upgrades the look and feel of the Traverse with features most buyers will appreciate. It retains the cloth interior of the LS but adds a selection of comfort features, including an eight-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar support and second-row captain’s chair seating.
The 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels are also part of the package, as are body-colored side mirrors with integrated turn signals, remote start, a power liftgate, and black roof rails. On the tech side, Chevy continues to step it up with more features, including an optional 8-inch color touch screen with the Infotainment 3 Plus package.
Safety-wise, the LT Cloth adds blind-spot monitoring, rear park assist, and rear cross-traffic alerts to the list of standard driver-assistance features.
Chevrolet Traverse LT Leather Trim
Right above the LT Cloth, the LT Leather trim has a slightly higher MSRP of $40,140 and adds a luxurious flair to the equation. Here, you’ll find leather upholstery, connected in-vehicle apps such as Built-In and Spotify, a programmable power rear liftgate, and a six-way power passenger seat with power lumbar support.
The LT Leather also upgrades the infotainment system with an optional Bose Premium 10-speaker audio system, complete with a three-month trial subscription to SiriusXM 360L. Other features include a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel, plus a universal home remote that allows users to control their garage door and more.
In terms of safety, the LT Leather adds adaptive cruise control and enhanced automatic emergency braking with rear pedestrian detection to the already impressive safety suite.
Chevrolet Traverse RS Trim
The RS trim, coming in at $44,445, is the way to go for a sportier look and even more tech features. Here, you’ll find 20-inch dark aluminum wheels, black bowtie emblems, blackout trim and badges, and black roof rails for a more intense appearance that screams performance.
Inside, the RS has every creature comfort found in the LT Leather trim, plus exclusive Jet Black perforated leather upholstery with red accents. Active aero shutters, which reduce drag and improve fuel economy, are standard too.
On the tech side, the RS provides a 120-volt power outlet for your small appliances. Safety features are unchanged from the LT Leather trim, so adaptive cruise control and enhanced automatic emergency braking with rear pedestrian detection are standard.
Chevrolet Traverse Premier Trim
Starting at an MSRP of $46,600, luxury and technology come together in the grander Traverse Premier trim to create a superior experience that few vehicles can match. Unique to the Premier trim are 20-inch metallic machine-faced aluminum alloy wheels, dual exhaust outlets with rectangular tips, auto-dimming driver’s side mirrors, and a hands-free power liftgate.
Inside, the Premier offers heated front seats with memory settings for the driver’s side, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel with a power tilt/telescoping column, and heated second-row seats for extra comfort.
Tech features include a digital 8-inch configurable instrument cluster that gives the driver customizable warning messages and important vehicle information. As for safety, GM’s Safety Alert Seat vibrates on the left, right, or both side areas when it detects a potential hazard.
Chevrolet Traverse High Country Trim
This is the pinnacle of luxury and technology. Starting at $51,400, the Traverse High Country comes with almost all available equipment as standard. One of the most notable upgrades is a power-folding third-row seat, allowing you to maximize storage space for your travels around Georgia.
Speaking of luxury, the Traverse High Country offers a Dual SkyScape sunroof. This one-of-a-kind feature allows you to open the front and rear sections of the Traverse’s roof, creating an open-air experience. You can also adjust the front and rear shades separately to customize your view even more.
In a nutshell, the 2023 Chevrolet Traverse offers everything from sport to luxury, with a wide range of trims so you can pick your perfect SUV. Why Is Brake Repair Important?
Your braking system comprises multiple components that work together to slow down and stop your car. Over time, these parts become worn from use and must be replaced. Consequently, it’s important to keep up with regular brake maintenance and repair to avoid more costly work down the road. Here is a look at some of the reasons why brake repair is so important:
- Ensures optimal braking performance: When brake pads become worn, they can cause other parts of the braking system to work harder, decreasing the stopping power. By replacing worn brake pads, you can help ensure that your car stops as quickly as possible when necessary.
- Contributes to proper vehicle control: If your brakes are not working correctly, you may have difficulty slowing down or stopping your vehicle, which can be dangerous. Ensuring your brakes are in good condition will help you maintain proper control of your car.
- Helps maintain vehicle safety: Safety is one of the most important reasons to keep up with brake maintenance. Your brakes are a crucial part of your car’s safety system, so they can put you and others at risk if they aren’t working properly.
- Maximizes stopping power: When brakes are well maintained, they can provide maximum stopping power. This is especially important in emergencies when you need to stop your car quickly or when stopping distances are increased in bad weather.
- Increases the longevity of your braking system: By regularly replacing the brake pads and performing other maintenance tasks, you can help extend the life of your braking system. This can save you money in the long run as you won’t have to replace your brakes as often.
As you can see, there are many reasons why brake repair is important. By keeping up with regular maintenance and small repairs, you can help ensure the safety of your vehicle and avoid more serious issues later on.
Signs You Need Brake Repair
Like with any other car component, there are various warning signs that indicate your brakes may need repair or replacement. If you notice any of the following, be sure to schedule an appointment with us right away:
- Your car is pulling to one side when you brake: This can be a sign that your brake pads are worn unevenly or that there’s an issue with your braking system.
- Your car is vibrating when you brake: This could be a sign of warped rotors or another severe issue with your brakes. This shouldn’t be mistaken for the pulsing sensation of your ABS kicking in on wet or icy roads.
- It takes longer than usual for your car to stop: If your vehicle takes longer to stop than it used to, it can mean that your brake pads are worn or there’s an underlying issue with your braking system.
- You hear strange noises when you brake: If you notice squealing, grinding, or other odd noises coming from your brakes, it can be a sign your brake pads are overly worn down.
- Your brake pedal feels soft: A soft brake pedal can indicate a leak in your braking system, which can lead to complete brake failure if not fixed.
- Your brake warning light is on: Once your brake warning light comes on, it’s time to have your brakes checked since there may be an issue with your braking system.
Why You Should Schedule Your Brake Service With Vaden Chevrolet Savannah
There are many reasons to schedule a brake service with Vaden Chevrolet Savannah. Here are just a few:

For the 2023 Leaf, you’ll have two electric motor options to choose from to ensure you get all the power you need. Driver and passengers will find the 2023 Nissan Leaf’s interior space comfortable and relaxing. When you fold the rear seat down completely, you’ll have room for up to 30 cu-ft of gear. All the controls are centrally located, making them easy to access while you cruise through town. Upgrade to the SV Plus model for added comforts, such as heated seats, a heated steering wheel, and more.

While the EPA hasn’t rated the 2023 version of the Equinox yet, it should be similar to the fuel economy of the 2022 model since they have similar powertrains. The 2022 Chevrolet Equinox does pretty well for an SUV, coming in at 26 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. This is for models that have FWD, while AWD models receive a drop of 1 mpg for each rating.
Trims And Exterior Features
Chevrolet offers four different trim options on the 2023 Equinox. As you move up to more expensive trims, you’ll get an Equinox with more premium features and different exterior options. The available trims include:
- 2023 Chevrolet Equinox LS.
- 2023 Chevrolet Equinox LT.
- 2023 Chevrolet Equinox RS.
- 2023 Chevrolet Equinox Premier.
The Equinox LS is the base model, and it includes features like a push-button start, active noise cancelation, and automatic LED headlights. Moving up to the LT trim adds features such as a power liftgate, a sunroof, and a 360-degree camera. The Equinox RS changes the appearance of the Equinox, adding black wheels, an “RS” badge, and a new front grille. Finally, the Equinox Premier has the most upscale look, thanks in part to its 18-inch machine-faced wheels, bright roof rail, and bright grille.
Interior Comfort
The 2023 Chevrolet Equinox looks pretty similar to the 2022 model, with some slight changes. In the 2022 model, there were comfortable front seats with plenty of room for passengers, and this remains for the 2023 models. On the LS and LT trims, expect to find cloth upholstery, while the RS and Premier trims have perforated leather. A slight change for the 2023 model is a wrapped steering wheel in faux leather, which provides a nice touch of luxury and comfort.
There’s also a decent amount of cargo space in the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox. In the trunk area, you’ll find 29.9 cubic feet of storage, which is pretty good for SUVs of this class. If you fold down the rear seats, you’ll have even more storage room, expanding up to 63.9 cubic feet. This means you should have no trouble fitting in plenty of luggage for road trips or running errands on the weekends.
Entertainment
The 2023 Chevrolet Equinox comes with plenty of features to make driving more enjoyable. To start, there is a standard 7-inch infotainment system, which makes it easy to control all your media sources. This system comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities, allowing you to stream your favorite media apps, load up your preferred navigation apps, and use voice commands to complete tasks while you’re driving. A 4G LTE Wi-Fi connection also comes standard, making it easy for all your passengers to stay connected to the internet.
Safety
In addition to the many entertainment features, the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox also comes packed with safety features, including OnStar. OnStar is an emergency service calling system that you can use if you experience trouble on the road. It instantly connects you to a service agent who can send out first responders or someone to help with your broken vehicle.
Another great feature is the safety alert seat, which comes standard on the Premier trim. With this feature, the driver’s seat vibrates when they are approaching hazards. For example, if something is approaching the vehicle on the left side, the left side of the seat vibrates to alert the driver. Other safety features include:
- Automated emergency braking.
- Lane-keeping assist.
- Lane-departure warning.
- Adaptive cruise control.
While the 2023 model hasn’t received a safety rating yet, the 2022 Equinox received an overall five-star rating from the NHTSA. Since there are no significant elements missing from the 2023 model compared to the 2022, we expect it to receive a similar safety rating.
Is The 2023 Chevrolet Equinox Right For You?
The 2023 Chevrolet Equinox is a great choice for many people. For example, someone looking for an SUV for their next road trip will enjoy the fuel efficiency, comfort, and cargo space of the Equinox. Drivers looking for something for their young family might also like that the Equinox has plenty of rear space and comes loaded with safety features. Essentially, if you want a reliable and affordable compact SUV without sacrificing quality and enjoyment, you should strongly consider the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox.

You can easily spend a whole weekend walking aimlessly through the charming oak-lined streets of Savannah, Georgia, admiring the beautiful old squares, parks, and historic buildings. When you want to refuel or sit down for an incredible evening meal to end your day, you’ll find that Savannah offers a wide range of restaurants that caters to almost every preference and taste.
With a dizzying array of options, from modern bistros and international cuisine to traditional old Southern cooking, the Savannah restaurant scene is one of the best in the entire state of Georgia. Whether you’re looking for inspiration for your next date night, a family day out, or a friendly group get-together, we picked some of our favorite spots in town to share with you. We’re sure you’ll find at least one to savor.
Cotton & Rye
Cotton & Rye has been one of the highest-rated restaurants in Savannah for years, attracting local regulars and out-of-town visitors alike. This eatery enjoys putting a modern twist on traditional ingredients and culinary methods. The chefs here make breads, sausages, and pâtés from scratch, ensuring that their customers have access to the freshest ingredients around.
The dishes are incredibly creative and imaginative while still including old Southern staples, such as cornbread and grits, which most customers highly recommend. If you’re going to try just one appetizer, go for the award-winning crispy chicken wings. Check out the incredible wine selection while you’re here, and make sure you leave room for dessert — the Candy Bar dessert is amazing.
Chive Sea Bar & Lounge
This 1920s-inspired restaurant and lounge is nestled in the beautiful historic district. In addition to serving some of the classiest and most delicious vintage cocktails in town, the Chive Sea Bar & Lounge also specializes in seafood dishes, as the name suggests. But it serves other cuisines as well.
Although you can’t go wrong with almost any item on this carefully crafted menu, try the crab soup, Prince Edward oysters, or tuna ceviche. If you want an alternative to seafood, go for the asparagus risotto. This is also a good place to visit if you have a vegetarian in the group, as the restaurant happily caters to customers with dietary preferences or restrictions, and many dishes are vegetarian.
The Olde Pink House
The building in which The Olde Pink House restaurant is nestled is almost as incredible as the mansion itself. Located in Savannah’s historic district, this pink-tinged mansion was originally built in 1771. In accordance with its historical setting, the restaurant focuses on perfecting and serving traditional local Southern cuisine.
Try the cornbread fried oysters, jumbo sea scallops, and chef’s fried chicken. After a night of music, excellent service, and an incredible meal, stop by Arches Bar within the house for a nightcap. Reservations are highly encouraged, as the restaurant tends to fill up quickly, especially on evenings when you can catch live music in the cellar tavern.
Jazz’d Tapas Bar
Walk down to this chic, sophisticated, industrially styled space to experience a night of incredible food and cocktails. Because this location also doubles as a bar, you must be 18 or older to enter, so save Jazz’d Tapas Bar for a date night rather than a family outing.
As you might have guessed from the name, the bar frequently has live music playing for an extra cultured touch. The tapas menu makes it easy for customers to taste a big variety of dishes without getting too full. Even though the restaurant is tapas-style, most of the dishes are inspired by American — and more specifically, Southern — cuisine. A few local favorites include lamb lollipops, the Terra Cotta Cheese Platter, and the Low Country Shrimp & Grits.
Mrs. Wilkes’ Dining Room
This is the only restaurant we’ve included in our list of favorite dining spots before, but it’s so good we couldn’t help ourselves.
Come get a taste of true Southern hospitality at Mrs. Wilkes’ Dining Room. This unique restaurant does things a little bit differently, offering shared tables for its customers, so you can sit down right next to new people, share a meal, and make new friends.
The idea behind the restaurant is to make guests feel at home, with a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere and the mass sharing of plates across the big tables, even with people you don’t know. You’ll taste delicious homemade Southern dishes that’ll remind you of the cooking you experienced back home with mom.
Try the staples, such as fried chicken, black-eyed peas, and macaroni and cheese. Keep in mind before you go that this is one of the most popular spots in Savannah, and it only serves lunch. The restaurant is open Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., but you may have to line up 30 minutes to an hour before to get inside. However, the experience, food, and hospitality are truly worth it.
The Wyld
Eat a meal right on the docks, with a beautiful view of the water below you, at The Wyld. Focused almost exclusively on seafood, the menu rotates with the season, so if you go twice in three months, you might find completely new dishes.
For now, you can try the local fish tacos, clam rolls, and crispy okra. Spend a weekend evening relaxing in this ultra-casual eatery, and if the weather gets chilly, crowd around the fire pit along with everyone else. If you want to spend some more time here after you’re done with your meal, grab a cocktail and line up for a game of bocce ball.
Whether you’re looking for something casual or upscale, a menu with light seafood dishes, or hearty Southern cuisine, Savannah restaurants have something for every taste. We’ve listed some of our favorites above, but if you have a local spot you absolutely love that we missed, please contact us at Vaden Chevrolet Savannah and let us know, as we would love to include it in a future post.

2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer Vs 2023 Kia Seltos

With an ever-growing crossover and SUV market, consumers have more options when choosing the right vehicle for their lifestyle. Recently, the small crossover SUV segment has been booming, with automakers offering various models to fit drivers’ needs. Small crossovers are the perfect combination of convenience and style, offering agile handling, impressive fuel economy, and enough cargo space to fit all your daily needs. Whether you’re looking for something sporty and stylish or just a reliable ride for daily commutes, there’s sure to be a small crossover SUV that fits the bill.
Two of the most popular small crossover SUVs on the market today are the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer and the 2023 Kia Seltos. Both vehicles offer stylish outer bodywork, sleek interiors, and composed handling while providing enhanced safety features and class-leading convenience. But how exactly do these two differ in terms of performance, pricing, technology, and safety?
In this face-off, we’ll pit the 2023 Trailblazer against the 2023 Seltos to see which one comes out on top. By the end, you’ll better understand which vehicle is the best fit for your lifestyle. Stay tuned to find out who wins this epic showdown.
Price
What better way to begin our comparison than with price? Well, the Trailblazer takes the win in this category. Starting at just $23,395, it’s significantly cheaper than the Seltos’ price tag of $24,435. And even with the lower starting price, the Trailblazer still offers more features than the Seltos, so it’s definitely the better deal.
Powertrain, Transmission, And Performance
Under the hood, the Trailblazer offers a turbocharged 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine, which churns out 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. This mill is paired exclusively with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive. For those who want more power, there’s also a turbo-three 1.3-liter engine that produces 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The Seltos, on the other hand, comes standard with a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that provides 146 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. So, while the base Seltos has extra horsepower, the base Trailblazer has more torque and a peppy turbocharged engine to boot. If you want more from the Seltos, there’s a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine available, which generates 175 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. Although this is slightly more powerful than the Trailblazer’s turbo-three engine, it’s also more expensive.
As for the transmission, the Seltos base engine is coupled to a CVT. While smooth, it may deter some enthusiast drivers due to its lack of engaging shifts. The 1.6-liter turbocharged engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic that provides more oomph. The Trailblazer, however, has the edge here as it offers a nine-speed automatic that is smoother and more responsive.
Overall, the Trailblazer offers a better driving experience with its peppy turbocharged engines, smooth transmission, and composed handling. The Seltos is no slouch either; it offers a more powerful engine and is still pretty nimble, so it’s a close call between the two.
Technology And Convenience Features
Nowadays, creature comforts and tech goodies are just as important, if not more so, than the engine specs. Luckily, both crossovers have a decent array of features and amenities that make them very attractive.
The Trailblazer comes with a 7-inch touch-screen display as standard, which can be upgraded to an optional 8-inch display. It also offers an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, and a six-speaker audio system. On the flip side, the Seltos’ base trim has an 8-inch touch screen, while a larger 10.3-inch touch-screen display is optional. It also offers a six-speaker audio system, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity.
Although the Seltos offers a larger touch-screen display, the Trailblazer still has a slight edge here with its onboard Wi-Fi hotspot, a power outlet, wireless device charging, and a variety of other convenience features such as a hands-free liftgate and a power liftgate. These features are a great way to make daily errands less of a hassle and make a big difference when it comes to convenience.
Both crossovers offer a generous array of features and amenities, but the Trailblazer’s added convenience features make it the superior choice.
Safety Features
Safety is paramount when buying a vehicle, and the Trailblazer and Seltos offer plenty of features that provide peace of mind. Both come standard with a suite of driver assistance technologies that help reduce the likelihood of an accident.
The Trailblazer again steals the show, offering more intuitive and intelligent driver assistance features. Although both cars offer automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, automatic high beams, and lane departure warning as standard, the Trailblazer offers additional safety features such as rear side airbag and knee airbag. Rear cross-traffic alert is optional on the Trailblazer and isn’t available on the Seltos, making it the preferred option on the safety front.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the Trailblazer an overall five-star rating regarding crash testing, the highest rating available. The Seltos, meanwhile, was rated at four out of five stars. This indicates the Trailblazer is the safer choice in the head-to-head comparison.
Which Is Better?
The verdict is in, and after comparing the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer with the 2023 Kia Seltos, it’s clear that both rides have a lot in common and offer similar features. However, the Trailblazer takes the lead thanks to its superior performance, technology, and safety prowess. It also offers more convenience features, adding an extra layer of practicality to the mix.
The Seltos holds its own with some solid features, but in the end, the Trailblazer is the better choice for those who want an affordable and practical crossover with plenty of features and amenities. All things considered, the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer is the clear winner in this head-to-head comparison.
